The Happ Inn, 395 Happ Road, Northfield, celebrates National Burger Month (May) with different specialty burger every week May 1-31.
Chef Freddy Sanchez kicks off the month with a salute to Happ Inn's owner Carlos Nieto with the Carlito's Way (pictured) with prime beef patty topped with wood oven roasted pineapple, pico de gallo, fried jalapenos, pepper jack cheese and chipotle mayo, $14, (May 1-9); BBQ burger prime beef patty topped with house smoked bbq pork, crispy onion strings and coleslaw, $14, (May 10-16); lamb burger with cucumber, feta, kalamata olive, red onion, spicy tzatziki sauce, $15, (May 17-23) and the chorizo turkey burger with chihuahua cheese, serrano aioli, poblano rajas, $14 (May 24-31).
