Sage Room Chicago, 67 E. Cermak Rd., hosts a Kentucky Derby party 2-7 p.m. April 30. Guests are encouraged to dress in their derby best: sundresses, seersucker, suits and of course—hats and brims.

The Adler Planetarium and Empirical Brewery have partnered to launch the second edition of Space for Everyone MK. II a sour ale with red pomelo.
The beer was developed in support of Adler's Wow! Signal Space Variety Show, with 25 percent of the proceeds from sales benefitting the Adler programs.

Buffalo Creek Brewing, 360 Historical Lane, Long Grove, transforms its beer garden into a spring break destination April 10 during which the brewery will unveil its new pilsner, Tiger Blood (tall blonde ale infused with watermelon, strawberry, and hints of coconut).
Festivities will include DJ spinning. La Cocinta Food Truck will be on hand to provides the eats. In addition a tiki stand will provide BCB snow cones (Mike’s Black Hoof hard seltzer infused with tropical slushy flavors such as Hurricane, dragon fruit, pineapple, pina colada and kiwi).
