Freddy's Frozen Custard, participating locations, partners with Folds of Honor for a November fundraise, November 1-30.

Patrons can round up their order by $1 or donate a domination of  $1; $3; $5 or $10. All proceeds benefit Folds of Honor, a nonprofit organization that provides scholarships to spouses or children of fallen military members or veterans rendered disabled will serving in the military.

The fundraising effort run November 1-30.

Milk Room at Chicago Athletic Association, 12 S. Michigan Ave., becomes a spirit-free speakeasy 5-7 p.m. October 23 during a special event offering a curated menu and non alcoholic drinks in the spirit of the former prohibition era.

Guests will be feted with a round of non alcoholic beverages paired with a curated tasting menu. Two one hour settings are available: 5-6 p.m. and 6-7 p.m. October 23; $45, includes three spirit free cocktails and samples of products..

Chef/owner Chesaree Rollins, CheSa’s Bistro & Bar, 3235 W. Addison St., is back in the kitchen after a brief hiatus and has re-started her Cajun/Creole dinner service (5-9 p.m. Friday and Saturday).

The restaurant kicks off its 1st anniversary October 20 with a new dinner menu featuring a pre-fixe menu in celebration for the weekend. 

 A new cocktail menu, featuring creative Southern-inspired libations, will be available as well.

The All-Day R&B brunch 11am-3 p.m. Saturday;  and 11am-4p.m. Sunday. Full service begins October 24 with a new menu in place Tuesday through Sunday, 5-9  p.m. Brunch, Saturday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m; Sunday, 11a.m to 4 p.m.
