Transit Tees' 8-week Chicago Handshake Passport Challenge quest encourages Chicagoans to explore neighborhoods and collect passport stamps from participating bars listed below.

The event ends with a finale event September 22 at Emporium in Logan Square. Find complete details and rules heree

The endeavor is an effort in support of Another Round Another Challenge which provides relief assistance to bars, restaurants and hotels.

The luxury car brand is hosting the event, that features the launch of  the shop's Porsche x Pretty Ice cream pops (inspired by Porsche's custom paint colors).

Flavors include Mint Green (green mint cookies and cream ice cream with mint green white chocolate); Strawberry Red (cream cheese ice cream dipped in a strawberry red shell made with real strawberries); Macadamia Metallic (roasted macadamia ice cream in sparkling shell); Frozen Berry Metallic (black raspberry ice cream in sparkling frozen berry colored ruby chocolate shell) and Lime Gold Metallic (Key lime pie ice cream in sparkling cold colored caramel shell).

Prairie Grass Cafe, 601 Skokie Blvd, Northbrook, is offering a special seasonal farm plant-based subscription menu for takeout this July. The menu is chef’s choice featuring Three Sisters Garden, Adams Acres Organics and Nichols Farm & Orchard. Dishes reflect the flavorful bounty of the season.

The subscription cost is $25 for a salad entrée and a side dish. Meals are available for pick up at Prairie Grass Cafe at 2 p.m. Thursdays. The July subscription for three weeks is $75 (does not include tax and service fee). Pre-order is required.
