The festival, which also takes place each year in San Francisco and New York City, offers the opportunity to sample whiskies from around the world—including single malt and blended Scotch, Irish, bourbon, rye, Tennessee, Japanese, Canadian, and craft-distilled whiskies—and learn firsthand from the experts. Distillery representatives will be on hand at their pouring booths, while educational seminars, featuring their own tastings, will be running throughout the evening as well.
Guests will meet meet an array of distinguished distillers, master blenders and other whisky experts.
A VIP session kicks off at 5:30 p.m. Grand tasting 6:30 p.m. and seminar sessions get underway at 7 p.m. and 7:45 p.m.

The Chicago Firehouse Restaurant, 1401 S. Michigan Ave., unveiled a new spring dinner menu available Tuesday through Saturday.
Infusing the past and present in its new menu offerings classic favorites with new comteporary seasonal dishes.
Items include: bacon-wrapped twin petite filets with Diane mushroom sauce; CFH Smoke plate featuring pork spare ribs, housemade sausage, pulled pork, coleslaw, house pickles, and sweet and spicy barbecue sauces.
Lighter fare includes surf and turf appetizer of with seared Diver scallops, braised applewood smoked bacon, curried cauliflower and honey; dry-aged meatballs with homemade ricotta dumpling and arabiatta sauce.

Haitian celebrity chef Gregory Gourdet from Bravo's "Top Chef," holds a virtual cooking event in support of Hike for Haiti Challenge, 8 p.m. ET; 7 p.m. CT and 5 p.m. PT, April 25.
The cooking show, part of the events virtual challenge, is raising funds in support of Hope for Haiti's education and public health initiatives.
