Rewired Pizza Cafe and Bar two-year anniversary specials

Rewired Pizza Cafe and Bar, 1100 W. Thorndale Ave., will be featuring a host of two-year anniversary specials October 31-November 3 leading up to a special wine tasting highlighting Burke Beverage brands.

Specials will include $2 specials featuring $2 pizza slices; $2 pastries; $2small drip coffee and select $2 shots.

Rewired's big anniversary event, a wine tasting led by Burke Beverage, takes place 5-6:30 p.m. November 3.

Live music by performer Tamila Viola kicks off at 6 p.m. November 3. The regular menu will be available as well as the Thursday Date Night dinner special; $49 for two. Pepsico in support of its Manzanita brand is sponsoring a Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) grocery giveaway in multiple cities that includes Chicago.

For the occasion the company has designed limited-edition packaging available in select cities (Chicago; Dallas/Houston: Los Angeles and Phoenix) and is featuring $100 grocery giveaway.

Timothy O'Toole's is hosting a three-pub Halloween-themed bus crawl of it's suburban locations October 29, kicking off 7:45 p.m. at its Villa Park location, 10 W. Grand Ave. (947-979-0600)). 

From there the crawl heads to Gurnee, 5572 Grand Ave.(847-249-080o) landing at its final destination in Libertyville, 412 N. Milwaukee Ave. (847-984-2599).

A costume party will be held from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. in the 412 Room at the Libertyville location. A best costume winner and best dressed couple competition will be held. 

One grand prize winner will receive a Timothy O'Toole's gift card valued at $1000. The best dressed couple will be awarded a $200 cash prize. Winners will be announced at the stroke of midnight.

Pub crawl bus tickets can be purchased online . Libertyville locals can join in the bewitching hour of fun for a $5 cover charge at the door.
