The Chocolate Sanctuary, 5101 Washington St., Gurnee, serves up a robust October Lord of the Rings themed dinner 6 p.m. October 26-27.
The menu includes: baked brie topped with apple, date and pumpkin chutney paired with pumpkin ale; raspberry arugula salad paired with mead; Sam's stew (beef and rabbit stew with onion, and potatoes in red wine broth with garlic mashed potatoes with taters, pictured) paired with Pinot Noir and honey lavender cake paired with coffee service.
