Festa's 21st Annual Twelve Bars of Xmas Wrigleyville pub crawl begins 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. December 10. TBOX, which kicks off and concludes at The Cubby Bear, 1059 W. Addison, is a travel parade of merriment, bringing good cheer to area bars. 

This year's theme is "The Wedding," which means in addition to wearing pajamas, onesies and other holiday garb participants are encouraged to also don wedding attire. Vanille's Holiday Tea Service

French-inspired patisserie Vanille, celebrates the holiday season with a new holiday tea menu for their Afternoon Tea experience, served in the elegant tea salon at the Lincoln Park location (2108 N. Clark). 

In addition to the regular tea items the menu will feature lemon pepper quiche, pumpkin curd, gingerbread macaron, and pecan tart. The Holiday Tea is capped off with Vanille’s signature hot chocolate served with a house made marshmallow and peppermint macarons. The menu will be available November 25-December 31; $45. Reservation times are noon, 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.

In addition Vanille's newest location, 3243 N. Broadway; will begin serving regular Afternoon Tea ($32) beginning November 25. A Petit Tea is available for ages 4-12 years old; $19. Reservation times are the same as listed.

Geja's Annual Champagne Fest

Geja's Cafe, 340 W. Armitage, hosts its 37th Annual Champagne Festival, featuring sparking wines from France, beginning December 1 through February 28, 2017. The three-month-long festival will spotlight the Drappier wines alone with two selections from Dopff & Irion.

Vintages will include: Drappier Brut Carte d'Or; Drappier Brut Nature; Drappier Brute Nature Rose; Drappier Charles Du Gaulle; Drappier 2006 Grande Sendree; Dopff & Irion Brut Cremant d' Alsace and Dopff & Irion Brut Cremant d' Alsace Rose.

Geja's kicks off the festival with a Drappier Champagne tasting event December 4, which will be open to the public; $30, includes bread, grapes and cheese. Charlene Drappier (pictured) leads a discussion.  A four-course Champagne Drapper Winemaker Dinner is 7 p.m. December 5; $60.

Passport to France 2016

Passport to France 2016, presented by the French-American Chamber of Commerce, takes place 6-9:30 p.m. November 17, Union League Club of Chicago, 65 W. Jackson. Tickets start at $110. Early access tickets available.

 The event, what began as a celebration of the Beaujolais Noveau vintage, now in its 32 edition, focuses on everything French. Guests will be feted to wines food and live music. Restaurants and pastry shops include: Bistrnomic; Lockwood, Sugar Fixe Patisserie, Bisdsstrot Zinc, Cafe Amano, Vanille, Cafe des Architects, Troquet, The French Pastry School, Brindille,  and Hemingway's Bistro.

Wine and spirit vendors include: Heavenly Spirits, Boisset Collection, Mason Ferrande, Jean Fillioux Grand Champagne, Pommery, Armorik and Gerard Bertrand. Purchase tickets.

Hard Rock's Heineken Burger and Beer Deal

Ontario, launched a Heineken brisket burger (half-pound, certified Angus Beef patty topped with Heineken-braised brisket, caramelized BBQ onions, garlic aioli and Gouda cheese, served with Hard Rock’s seasoned fries) and beer deal will be available beginning November 14 through January 29. 

The restaurant is also launching a lineup of holiday-inspired cocktails, served in Mason jars, that includes Angelo' Passion, from the winner of Hard Rocks 2016 Blobal BarRocker Championship, (Bacardi Superior rum, Midori melon liqueur, passion fruit reál and ginger beer).
