Armitage, hosts its 37th Annual Champagne Festival, featuring sparking wines from France, beginning December 1 through February 28, 2017. The three-month-long festival will spotlight the Drappier wines alone with two selections from Dopff & Irion.
Vintages will include: Drappier Brut Carte d'Or; Drappier Brut Nature; Drappier Brute Nature Rose; Drappier Charles Du Gaulle; Drappier 2006 Grande Sendree; Dopff & Irion Brut Cremant d' Alsace and Dopff & Irion Brut Cremant d' Alsace Rose.
Geja's kicks off the festival with a Drappier Champagne tasting event December 4, which will be open to the public; $30, includes bread, grapes and cheese. Charlene Drappier (pictured) leads a discussion. A four-course Champagne Drapper Winemaker Dinner is 7 p.m. December 5; $60.
