PiniPico Brazilian Café, 1538 N. Clark St., kicks off National Empanada Day April 8 with a buy two, get one free mini empanadas ($5 for three) special.
The mini version special of the café’s signature Brazilian street food (regularly $4 for a full-size pastry) will be offered through April 10 while supplies last with customers able to customize their mini empanada sampler.
Guests can choose from a selection of fillings that includes: beef, chicken, spinach and feta, breakfast bacon and egg and breakfast ham and egg.
Hours are 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday-Friday; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
