The Rambler, 4128 N. Lincoln Ave., is hosting a Derby Day party featuring a happy hour 3-7 p.m. May 1.
Featured specials include: $5 Woodford Reserve shots; $8 mint juleps; $8 old fashioned; and $5 Blue Moon pints.
A Kentucky Fried chicken platter with coleslaw; fries and biscuit will be available for $16 for dine-in or carryout. A mint julep kit (house made and bottled mint julep with Woodford Reserve, fresh mint and powdered sugar along with two metal derby cups; $30) will also be available for carryout.
Activities include a best hat contest ($100 cash prize); Blue Moon beer sampling 5-6 p.m. A winning horse contest will also take place.
