Mercadito's new summer cocktails available for a limited time


Mercadtio, 108 W. Kinzie, helps ward off the dog days of summer with a round of refreshing summer cocktails, available through August 27.

The new summer selections are: Irish Paloma, sangria and the peach: Irish Paloma (Bushmills Irish whiskey, grapefruit and rosemary) pictured; sangria (Cazadores Blanco, cabernet, cassis and citrus) and The Peach (Parida Blanco, grilled peaches; honey and ancho reyes); $15 each.

In addition the restaurant is featuring Amiga Sandia, a watermelon-based cocktail (Casamigos Blanco, fresh watermelon, lime and basil; $14.50) throughout the summer.
