Mercadito, 108 W. Kinzie, launched a new happy hour program, 2-6 p.m. Monday-Friday. Items, individually priced $9.99 each, include:
margaritas, sangria, pollo tacos, hongos tacos and street quesadillas.
In addition the restaurant will feature a Labor Day brunch special, available 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. September 5-7.
Menu items include: carnitas hash (braised pork, crispy potatoes and sunny-side up egg); torta de huevo con chorizo (bolillo, chorizo, scrambled egg and pickled onions), entrees are $12 each.
Guests can make their own mimosas with the purchase of a bottle of Prosecco, ($30) and complimentary orange juice. Reservations available. Call: 312-329-9555.
