
Chocolate Sanctuary, 5101 Washington, Gurnee, Chef's dinner "Sangria and a taste of Spain," takes place 6-8 p.m. August 26-27; $45.
The four-course menu begins with olive oil poached baby octopus, Spanish chorizo, creamy navy beans with mixed green salad paired with sangria. The following courses are: saffron risotto topped with fried leeks, paired with citrus honey sangria; grilled pork tenderloin; lemon pepper potatoes; mojo sauce paired with grilled jalapeno lime sangria and a dessert course featuring chocolate flan served with Richard coffee and cinnamon churros.
