Azul located in Goose Island opened today


Azul Mariscos, located along the Chicago River at 1177 N. Elston in Goose Island teeitory, officially opened today.

The Latin-inspired seafood restaurant, manned by Chef Michael Hernandez, offers a variety of grilled, baked, fried and raw seafood options that include: grilled King Crab legs; whole Veracruz red snapper and grilled tequila-lime glazed salmon topped with housemade fire-roasted salsa and fresh avocado.

Craft cocktails, wine and international spirits highlight the beverage menu. Individual cans of select wine are available as well.

Hours are 4 p.m. to midnight Thursday-Friday; 11 a.m. to midnight Saturday-Sunday through early fall unless otherwise noted. Reservation available via OpenTable. Or, call 773-770-3766.
