CRW's First Bite event @The Field Museum

The 12th Annual Chicago Restaurant Week (January 25-February 7) event kicks off with the highly anticipated First Bites, 6 p.m. January 24, The Field Museum of Natural History,  1400 S. Lake Shore Drive.

 Joe Flamm, executive chef of Spiaggia and Spiaggia Cafe and local mixologist Jarmel Doss, assistant bar director at The Aviary, hosts the event. More than 70 restaurants participate in the event. See list of participants.

Early bird sales ($95) are available until tickets run out. General admission tickets are $125. Proceeds benefit Pilot Light a nonprofit organization helps children make healthier choices by connecting the lessons they learn in the program to foods they select for lunch at home and out among their communities.
