VU Rooftop Bar, 135 E. Cermak, kicks off its Cinco de Mayo celebration May 2. The bar is partnering with Tequila Avión to offer three specialty cocktails: spiced pear margarita (Avión Reposado, St. George spiced r and lime; $16); 44 Smash, mixed with muddled blueberry and lemon; $44) and Mexican firing squad (Tequila Avión Silver, topped with grenadine, lime, and angostura bitters, $16). Available through May 5.
