Fountainhead and Burns

Fountainhead, 1970 W. Montrose, salutes Scotland's George Burns on what would have been his 255th birthday (Jan. 25) with a celebration Jan. 23-26 that includes three-pour Scotch whiskey flights ($11-$20) and Scotch whiskey-based cocktails ($10-$14). Chef Cleetus Friedman salutes the bard with Scottish specialties that include ham and dried currant scones; Scotch egg with horseradish mustard and cream sauce and Haggis patties with whipped sweet potato, braised greens and pan gravy. fountainhead
