Chef Peter Balodimas of Tokio Pub, 1900 E. Higgins, Schaumburg, launched an innovative menu item today-- the Ramen burger (house-ground brisket and short rib Angus beef topped with soy molasses, Tamari soy, caramelized onion, garlic, green onion, shiitake mushroom brown sugar ginger, sesame seed and a mizuna garnish between a Ramen noodle bun. The unique choice was inspired by chef Keizo Shimamoto, creation which made a big buzz in Brooklyn during a summer flea market. tokiopub
