State and Lake Chicago Tavern goes green

State and Lake Chicago Tavern, 201 N State, beginning 8 am. March 17, is offering an array of St. Patrick Day food sand drink specials.

Chef Nathan Sears food items include: the Tavern Reuben (corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese with Russian dressing on rye; $9) and land and Guinness stew with braised lamb, potatoes, carrots and barley; $12.

Early (beginning 8 a.m.) drink specials include Green Bud Light can; $4; Jameson shot; $5 and Guinness can:$6.
