Heaven on Seven Cajun Cooking Class

Jimmy Bannos chef/owner of Heaven on Seven, 111 N. Wabash, hosts a Cajun cooking class/dinner, 7-9 p.m. October 5 at his downtown location; $75, includes five-course dinner along with alll you can drink beer and wine. The current menu (subject to change) includes Creole spiced salad, chicken and andouille sausage gumbo, orzolaya (Italian twist on jambalaya) New Orleans barbecue shrimp over cornbread and blueberry corn blasters.
