Chefs George Bumbaris and Sarah Stegner of Prairie Grass Cafe, 601 Skokie Blvd., Northbrook, ihave put together a Christmas short rib dinner package for two to go; $132, plus service fee.
The meal includes: slow braised boneless barbecue short ribs; mashed potatoes; mac & cheese with (broccoli; bacon and breadcrumbs); roasted cauliflower; spicy aioli mixed green salad with figs, dates, goat cheese and and cider vinegar (pictured); and a dessert of sticky toffee date cake.
An add-one of one quart of butternut squash is available for an additional cost.
