Yugen reopens with a special Valentine's menu

Yugen, 652 W. Randolph St., kicks off a Valentine's Day special February 11 with a five-course tasting menu; $185 per person.

At the center of Chef Mari Katsumura's lover's dinner is duck à l'Orange. A5 Wagyu beef can be added for an additional $55. Beverage pairings also available for an additional cost. The menu will be available February 11-13.

Amuse Bouche

Chawanmushi (La Belle Farm foie gras, Concord grape, celery) pictured

Truffle Pasta (okara gnocchi, pickled chanterelle, parmigiano, house togarashi, Bonito)

Scallop Motoyaki  (caviar, crispy potatoes, chive)

Duck à l’Orange  (Gobo, chicories, pistachio miso)

Apple (Okinawa sweet potato custard, coconut sorbet, yuzu )
