Marvin's Food & Fuel, 954 W. Fulton, puts nostalgia in the food game with it's signature TV dinners. The venue, which opened last fall in the downturn of the COVID-19 pandemic, is now springing forth and spreading the word that it's here and ready to serve the city's diverse appetites with a seasonal rotation of chef-curated TV dinners.

Manned by owner James Geier, the restaurant who entered Chicago food scene in a very low key manner is ready to heat up winter meals with savory TV dinner options that are ready to eat or freezable. The dinners, hand-crafted by chef Mitch Cavanah are $15 each.

The menu, which will rotate seasonally, currently includes: lasagna with ricotta and beef Bolognese, roasted cauliflower with pine nut gremolata and berry crumble; BBQ turkey meatloaf with whipped potatoes and Parmesan and chocolate chip bread pudding; and a smoked mushroom enchilada with black beans and Mexican chocolate cake.  A bottle of wine or cocktail can be added to the order as well. Items are available for pickup or delivery (some restrictions might apply). Place orders here.

in addition Marvin's offers dining on its heated pergolas that are semi-permanent, enclosed wooden structures. A seasonal menu includes: pastrami platter (house-smoked beef pastrami, sauerkraut, mustard trio, rye toast); potato latke tots (smoked salmon dip, pickled vegetables), signature double smashed cheeseburger and a vegan pulled mushroom sandwich with Jax’s house-made BBQ sauce, pickled red cabbage, fries.

Closed Monday-Tuesday; 4-11 p.m; Wednesday-Friday; 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday; 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Reservations available here. Call: 312-291-9255.
