Geja's 45th Annual Professional/Amateur Wine Tasting Contest

Geja’s Café, 340 West Armitage, hosts the 45th Annual Professional/Amateur Wine Tasting Contest 1 p.m. November 4. John Davis, former owner of Geja’s Café and creator of the Pro/Am contest, will serve as a guest judge for the competition. 

Contestants (professionals and amateurs) are presented with eight unmarked carafes of wine that they must identity by grape, place of origin, and vintage. The highest scorer in each category receives an engraved crystal wine decanter. To enter the competition, contestants pay an entrance fee of $30 and must be 21 years of age or older.
