The Walk In, 2727 N. Milwaukee, will feature $10 cocktails, prepared by guest bartender Carley Gaskin, using Copper and Kings American Brandy, Monkey Shoulder Whisky, Hendrick’s Gin and Astral Tequila, 2-8 p.m. September 3 with proceeds benefitting the Greater Houston Community Foundation relief efforts for Hurricane Harvey victims. Fifteen per cent of total sales from the time period will be donated to GHCF. In addition General Manager Phillip Smith (a transplant from Texas) and his staff will donate their gratuities for the day to the foundation.
The bar doesn't sell food; however, patrons are welcome to order for delivery (free to Walk-in patrons) or purchase food in person across the street at The Harding Tavern, 2732 N. Milwaukee.
