
Mak: Modern Asian Kitchen, 1924 W. Division, launched a back-to-school fundraiser for Chicago Public Schools effective September 5-30. The restaurant is donating a portion from all of its popular Chicken Wangs sales to CPS.
Named for owner Tommy Wang the dish (lolli-pop style, crispy fried chicken in a sweet and spicy sauce) come in small ($6) and large ($11) size with three varieties of sauce available. The CPS donation applies to both sizes.In addition every Wednesday during the month will be buy-one-get-one-free day.
