The Duke rides again in two classic western films directed by John Ford during the John Ford Film Festival, a 40th anniversary salute to the commemoration of the legendary director's death, Oct. 11-13 at the Hilton/Asmus Contemporary Gallery, 716 N. Wells. The film fest features John Wayne vehicles "Stagecoach," 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11 and "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance," 5 p.m. Oct. 13 The third film "How Green Was My Valley," 7:30 p.m. Oct. 12 features frequent Wayne co-star Maureen O'Hara.
