The Duplex adds two food concepts to its lineup

The Duplex, 3137 W. Logan Blvd., has added two new concepts 2 Korean Girls and Space Cow to its rotating food program.

Sisters Michele and Jennifer Kaminski of 2 Korean Girls add a little savior faire to burger world offering specialty burgers and modern Korean cuisine.


Menu items include: O.B.: The Original Bibimbap (The dish that started it all): Ribeye bulgogi, Korean white rice, sesame spinach, marinate Mung bean sprouts; sweet + sour radish, spicy potatoes, heart-Shaped egg and gochujang and Oh, You Spicy Huh? (spicy Korean chicken, Korean white rice, cucumber kimchi, Napa Cabbage Kimchi, spicy potatoes, heart-shaped egg and gochujang).

 

Chicago chef David Rodriguez and The Duplex owner LeQoinne Rice, partnered for the Space Cow, a burger-driven concept, said to be partially inspired by the Toy Story movie’s Pizza Planet restaurant, featuring gourmet sandwiches and sides made from the freshest ingredients. 


Menu items include: Double Patty (Munster cheese; grilled onions and sautèed garlic mushrooms); Meateor: (double beef patty; cheddar cheese14-hour smoked bbq brisket, housemade mac 'n cheese) and the Black Hole burger (vegetarian black bean patty; bleu cheese crumbles, mixed greens and basil aioli). Potabella fries (breaded Portabella mushrooms, served with housemade garlic aioli) are also a menu highlight.


The Duplex is open six days a week: 5 p.m. to midnight. Tuesday-Friday, 10 a.m to 2 a.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sundays. Reservations can be made via here. Call 773-697-4153.
