West Town Bakery's Valentine "cakeballs" now available for shipping

West Town Bakery, both West Town, 1916 W. Chicago Ave.  and Wrigleyville 3626 N. Clark St., are featuring love inspired cakeball pops, available for nationwide shipping as well as for in-store purchase.

Created by pastry chef/partner Chris Teixira's Valentine's Day sweets are available in three varieties: Love (raspberry cake and freeze-dried strawberries with raspberry jam and vanilla frosting with a dark chocolate shell, rolled in dark chocolate Pop Rocks and freeze-dried raspberries; Lust (strawberry cake and freeze-dried strawberries mixed Champagne and pink frosting with a milk chocolate shell, rolled in in pink peppercorns) and Infatuation (devil's food cake and chocolate frosting mixed with Abuelita chocolate and marshmallows with a dark chocolate shell sprinkled with cayenne peer and red chocolate drizzle.

Single Valentine’s Day cakeball pops are $2.95 each. The "Valentine's Day 4-Pack" which includes two Loves, one Lust, and one Infatuation is $12. A "Valentine's Day 9-Pack" that includes three of each flavor is also available; $26.

In addition the “Valentine’s Day 4-Pack” is included in the “Every Flavor Pack,” a 16 cakeball pops collection that also includes 4-packs of the “Cereal Bowl Pack" (Fruity Pebbles, Cap'n Crunch, Special K, Cinnamon Toast Crunch); "Candy Blast Pack" (M&M's, Reese's Pieces, Butterfinger, Snickers) along with the "Greatest Hits Pack" (vanilla sprinkles, triple chocolate, red velvet, French toast); $49.
