Chef Darnell Reed of Luella's teams up with Prairie Grass Cafe for a virtual dinner, Jan. 30

Prairie Grass Cafe, 601 Skokie Blvd., Northbrook, chefs/co-owners Sarah Stegner and George Bumbaris team up with Chef Darnell Reed (pictured) of Luella’s Southern Kitchen, 4609 N. Lincoln Ave., for a virtual dinner event January 30. View menu and add-on libation options below.

The menu features 

Meal kits Must be picked up by January 28 and can be picked up at both locations:

*Prairie Grass Cafe orders must be placed at 847-205-4433 between the hours of 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 

*Luella orders must be placed online at Cashdrop. Must submit email to receive Zoom link for the January 30 dinner event

First course: Three Sisters Garden Squash Soup with pumpkin seeds and micro greens (from Prairie Grass Cafe)

First course: Kale Ambrosia Salad with Oranges, Grapefruit, Pineapple, Goat Cheese , Coconut, Three Sisters Garden Candied Pecans and Cranberry Vinaigrette (from Luella’s Southern Kitchen)

Main course: Shrimp and Andouille Baked Mac and Cheese (from Luella’s Southern Kitchen)
