Bistronomic and George Trois cook up a unique experience

Martial and Lulu Noguier of Bistronomic, 840 N. Wabash Ave. and Chef Michael Lachowicz of George Trois, 64 Green Bay Rd., Winnetka, partner for a unique dining collaboration, bringing a series of two special dinners to the table December 4-5; and December 11-12.

Each dinner is a three-course family style menu for two. The December 11-12 dinners will feature holiday-inspired dishes.

THE CHEF’S SIGNATURE DISHES MENU ($120 ) includes:

BISTRONOMIC: Duo of House Made Country Pate & Chicken Liver Mousse, Apple Spice Puree, Apple Salad, Honey Truffle Country Mustard, Cornichons, Baguette Croutons.

GEORGE TROIS: Filet of Beef Tenderloin & Truffle-Veal Mousse en Croute with Périgord Sauce, Gratin Dauphinois and Roasted Baby Carrots Aux Fines Herbes
 
BISTRONOMIC: Chocolate Hazelnut Bars, Feuilletine, Praline, Orange Grand Marnier Sauce
 
HOLIDAY CELEBRATIONS ($100 ): 

GEORGE TROIS: Duo of Foie Gras Medallion & Strudel of Wild Mushrooms, Duck Confit and Foie Gras with Candied Fig Gastrique.

BISTRONOMIC: Braised 6 Hours Short Ribs, French Lentils, Winter Squash, Root Vegetable, Country Mustard, Cabernet Sauvignon Reduction

GEORGE TROIS: Fallen Chocolate Souffle with Salted Caramel Creme Anglaise (Bake at home, instructions included)

The menus, which can be ordered on Tock, will come with reheating and plating instructions. Wine and cocktail add ons available. Orders can be placed until 4:30 p.m. before the Thursday dinners (Dec. 4 and 11) at Bistronomic (312-203-9843)or George Trois (847-441-3100).
