The Graystone Tavern's 8 Crazy Nights pop-up has returned

The Graystone Tavern's, 3441 N. Sheffield Ave., “8 Crazy Nights,” Hanukkah-themed pop-up bar, has returned for the holidays. Following the newest COVID-19 restrictions and ban on indoor gatherings the pop up will be on the tavern's enclosed waterproof patio. 

Traditional holiday food includes: matzo ball soup ($5); latkes with applesauce and sour cream ($8); challah grilled cheese with tomato soup ($10); brisket platter with potatoes, carrots and onion ($16); sweet noodle kugel (egg noodles with apples, cinnamon, cream cheese and sugar; $6) and boozy jelly donuts (house-made vodka infused jell donut with powdered sugar; $5 for 1; $8, for two).

Specialty drinks such as Mensch Mule (Wheatley vodka, strawberry puree; lime juice; lemon-lime soda and ginger beer; $12); Festival of Lights (Mozart white chocolate vanilla cream liqueur, Wheatley vodka; Creme de cacao adorned with a gold sugar rim; $12) and Sufganiyah shot (Pinnacle cake vodka; Fragola wild strawberry liqueur with powdered sugar rim; $8) will be available. The pop-up bar will be around to January 3.
