Carnivale, 720 W. Fulton Market St., launches Carnivale Bakery, November 18.
The restaurant will spotlight an array of 12 inch cakes that include: old fashioned coconut; chocolate sponge cake with chocolate ganache and strawberries; banana pecan cake; and the Carnivale celebration cake; $45 each.
In addition a selection of cupcakes include (available in a dozen or half dozen) include: chocolate bourbon pecan; strawberry sprinkles; peanut butter and coffee fudge; pina colada; coconut lime; vanilla funfetti; red velvet & candied pecans and cookies and cream. Pickup orders are available 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday. Call: 312-850-5005. Orders can also be placed online 24 hours in advance of pickup time customer desires.
