The event kicks off with the always highly anticipated First Bites Bash, 5:30-8:30 p.m. January 25 in the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand. This year's host for the event, which features more than 60 chefs, is Lee Wolen, executive chef and partner of Lincoln Park eatery Boka. Must by 21 and older to attend. Tickets are $125. A portion of the proceeds from the week-long event will benefit the Greater Chicago Food Depository. Donations are also being accepted online.
