River Roast: Chef of the Year (February 17). The chefs will be inducted into the Chicago Culinary Museum and Chefs Hall of Fame, in a ceremony open to the public, 6 p.m. February 17 at the Palmer House Hilton, 17 E. Monroe.
Tickets are 175, and includes entry to the For the Love of Chocolate Foundation's annual fundraiser "Whimsy: A Dessert Dream Brought to Life," immediately following the induction ceremony, 7 p.m. to 12 a.m.
