
Forbidden Root, a botanic brewing company and brewpub, 1746 W. Chicago Ave., launches lunch 11 a.m. June 20. The menu, created by executive chef Dan Weiland, features lighter variations of his dinner items including: the Forbidden Root Burger (giardiniere mayo, Weiss aged cheddar, B&B pickle on a brioche bun) and the Mushroom Grilled Cheese on Texas toast. Dessert selections include the Forbidden Root Float.
