In honor of Memorial Day (May 29) Forbidden Root, 1746 W. Chicago, will donate $1 every glass of beer sold to the Semper Fi Fund, which provides immediate financial assistance and lifetime support to post 9/11 wounded, critically ill and injured members of all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, and their families, ensuring they have the resources they need during their recovery and transition back to their communities.
In addition, all profits from the sale of non-consumable merchandise (growlers, t-shirts, etc.) will also be donated. Forbidden Root we’ll be open noon to 10 p.m. (kitchen closes at 8 p.m.).
