Taste of Andersonville Dinner Crawl

Tickets are still available for Taste of Andersonville Dinner Crawl, 6-9 p.m. August 10. The food excursion features two routes Salt (vegetarian friendly) and Pepper, both serving up delectable eats. 

Salt dinner stops include Elixir (beef with chihuahua cheese or chipotle, spinach, kale with feta empanada); Fireside Restaurant (Smoked Gouda mac'n cheese and barbecue pulled pork); Andies Restaurant (sprouted organic falafel, smoked baba ganoush, my mom's dolma); JB's Deli (veggie struedel); Reuben strudel, pasta salad, cucumber salad); Jerry's (bruschetta with feta spread, chopped smoked tomatoes, fresh basil); Kopi Cafe (fresh black bean and corn salad with crispy tortilla chips) and Ranalli's of Andersonville (selection of signature thin pizzas).

Pepper dinner tops include: Appellation (simmer squash gnudi with green soffrito, smoked almonds and podda (sheep and cow cheese); The Coffee Studio (smoked salmon flatbread); Goddess and Grocer (chili maple bacon brioche); Konak Pizza and Grill (signature chicken chops and pilaf rice); Lady Gregory's Irish Bar & Restaurant (macaroni and cheese); Pork Shoppe (mini pulled pork sliders and shoppe slaw); Vincent (foie gras and fig sandwich bites) and t=the Wooden Spoon (wood-fired pizza). Both routes include cocktail and dessert stops.

Tickets ($35, week of event) are available for pickup after 4 p.m. at the Swedish American Museum, 5211 N. Clark. A portion of the proceeds benefit Care For Real food, clothing and referral services center for the Edgewater community.
