
Kick Restaurant, 1943 W. Byron, hosts a Labor Day Brunch, available 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. September 5. Chef Tim Lavelle has added three special items to the menu for the occasion: Cookies and Cream French Toast (Cocoa Puffs-crusted french toast, chocolate cream filling, topped with hot fudge and whipped cream $12); Candied Bacon Burger (aged white cheddar, chipotle BBQ, candied bacon, haystack onions $14) and Mimosa Bucket (bottle of sparkling wine with choice of two juices $25).
