Timothy O’Toole’s, 622 N. Fairbanks Court, kicks off its Thanksgiving Bears game, Brews snd Bites viewing party kicks off 10 a.m. November 28.
The game kicks off at 11:30 a.m. as the venue’s 72 screens are turned on for the Bears vs Lions matchup airing from Detroit. Bears swag will be raffled off during the game.
The Giants and Cowboys matchup kicks off at 3:30 p.m. followed by the Dolphins vs. Packers.
Full menu along with seasonal cocktails will be available. And if that isn’t enough the restaurant is the Big Timmy Challenge (participants vying for winner status in a competition that includes downing two half pound burger patties topped with cheddar jack, mozzarella and Swiss cheese, bacon, onion straws, barbecue sauce, lettuce, tomato, pickle, red onion served with Irish nachos; $30. There’s still time to place Thanksgiving dinner take-out for two (cider-brined roasted sliced turkey breast with gravy, spiral sliced honey baked ham with cranberry pear chutney, garlic mashed potatoes with chive butter, classic green bean casserole, Italian bread stuffing with sausage, bourbon pecan pie pumpkin pie, pretzel rolls and honey mustard butter. Le Sud Mediterranean Kitchen, 2301 W. Roscoe st., hosts a Beaujolais Nouveau wine tasting event 7 p.m. November 21.
A wine tasting event led by sommelier Scott Domer paired with a selection of hors d'oeuvres prepared by chef William Lara.
The fee to participate is $59.99 per person, and includes a bottle of Beaujolais Nouveau to take home, along with tasting notes and food pairing recommendations.
