On September 30, the Streeterville pub, 622 Fairbanks, will, offer an array of Oktoberfest bier and German-inspired fare. The celebratory event will also serve up a heaping of oom-pah-pah music. For more details visit here. Call: 312-642-0700
In addition to the regular menu, special dishes will include a giant Bavarian pretzel with a trio of dipping sauces; pork schnitzel with mashed potatoes and broccoli; and bread pudding with vanilla ice cream (outlined below). Bob McDermott, O'Toole's Pub Group's Beer Ambassador, will feature Oktoberfest brews from Paulaner, Revolution Brewing, Samuel Adams, Dovetail Brewery, and more.
