Chef William of El Tapeo, 2100 Spring RD., Oak Brook, hosts premier tasting event, featuring the unveiling of its private label bourbon Charred Oak Brook, 4 p.m. September 26, $55.
Guests will be feted with a tasting flight of curated cocktails paired with passed tapas. Guests purchasing a bottle of the Charred Oak Brook will receive a souvenir bottle etching.

Early bird tickets for the highly anticipated Chicago Pickle Fest, April 12 2025, are on sale now. Early bird pre-sale tickets include a complimentary pickle-back whiskey shot.

The tenth annual Wedtoberfest: Beer & Bubbly Wedding show, takes place 6 p.m. October 2, Artifact Events, 4325 N. Ravenswood Ave.
Brewers and wedding vendors will be in attendance. Guest can sample beer tastings and visit wedding vendors.
Tickets ranged from $20 single; $35, couples in advance online. VIP tickets available $30 per person; $50 couple in advance online. VIP entry 5:30 p.m. Hours are 6-9 p.m. Must be 21 and over with valid ID to attend. All IDs will be checked at the door. Swag bags will be handed out to guests. The highly anticipated Long Grove Apple Fest returns September 20-22 along Robert Parker Coffin Rd. in the historic downtown Ling Grove Old Mc Henry Rd.
The apple-centric event includes a wide range of vendors offering traditional as well as specialty apple inspired items.
The 2024 edition includes dozens of vendors peddling apple items, along with specialty apple inspired items on participating restaurant menus. An apple pie eating contest will also be a part of the festivities. Other highlights of the event include live music and family friendly activities and games.
Every ticket includes the option to participate in the highly anticipate dapple pie-eating and apple bobbing contests. More details and tickets here.

In addition there will be sports games and a vendor village. The will be an opportunity to win a homecoming ticket.
