Omakase Shoji, 1641 W. Chicago Ave., in Westown, is now open. 1641 W. The collaborative effort of Takashi Iida, with the execution overseen by his protege Executive Chef Shoji Takahashi.

Guests visiting the establishment will experience an authentic Japanese dining experience, wrapped in the mysteryious and certain to be captivating and memorable from start to finish.

Decor highlights include: ceiling-high bar showcasing an extensive selection of over 40 Ginjo and Daiginjo sake varieties, alongside a curated collection of rare Japanese whiskeys, that include s Hibiki 21 and Hibiki 30, which serve as the focal point of the bar area.

The omakase room experience will last 2 hours with hours of operation being Tuesday to Thursday from 5PM-11PM, Friday to Saturday from 4p.m. to 12 a.m.; Sunday 4 to 10 p.m.

The Sake Bar will be open Tuesday to Thursday 5 p.m. to 12 a.m.; Friday to Saturday from 4p.m to 1 a.m. Sunday from 4-11 p.m. Reservation here.
