Dry mocktails are what's hot in for Dry January @some area bars

Area bars and restaurants take a new twist on cocktails during "Dry January." Particpating local bars include: Central Park Bar, 2924 N. Central Park Ave., offering mocktails such as Seedip Grove 42 nonalcoholic spirit (pineapple, lime, lemon and sugar); punch, pictured  and the bar's Marz citrus party elixer cans ($8).

Other area bars participating include: Estelle's, 2013 W. North Ave., St. Agrestis Amaro Falso served over  ice in a high ball glass booze -less drinks. As well as Wake 'n Bacon's NoMosa (Simply Orange Juice and Starry Lemon-Lime with choice of flavored syrups like kiwi, mango, passion fruit, and peach) and the Virgin Mary with Ripe Bloody Mary Mix, lemon juice, Scrappy's Firewater Tincture and garnished with a bubble waffle and fried chicken.

Wake ‘n Bacon’s, 420 W. Belmont Ave. most popular drink, the Liquid Sunshine, is also available without booze and includes Simply Orange Juice, Calamansi Sour Mix, peach syrup, and Starry Lemon-Lime. All mocktails include the option to add CBD.
