River Roast, 315 N. LaSalle St., kicks up the heat with its thermos cocktails for the holiday season. Varieties include: smokey hot cocoa; Kahlua, Chile liqueur, Fernet; hot chocolate; spiced apple cider, spiced rum, apple cider, pimento dram, Frangelico, cinnamon stick mulled wine, red wine, brandy and more; $32.
The thermos cocktails will be around through December 31. In addition the venue will be feature live music, with the exception of Thanksgiving, throughout the holiday season.
