The Chicago French Market, 131 N. Clinton,  has new COVID safety rules in place in accordance with the updated city ordinance that went into effect January 3.

In addition to installing Airphx air purifiers throughout the market and continuing to require face masks for all guests and staff, the following procedures are now in place.

Customers who are coming to the Market for a quick visit of ten minutes or less must wear masks, but they do not need to provide proof of vaccination.

Fully vaccinated guests  have several dine-in areas to choose from. The main dining area will be open between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Bar Frietkoten, Blue Spot Sushi, Jian and A Taste of the Philippines have designated dining areas adjacent to their kiosks. In addition there is general seating adjacent to the information booth by the Clinton St. entrance.

To expedite the guest experience an online ordering system with no third-party charges has been implemented. Guests are encouraged to pre-order for dine in, carry-out, curbside pickup or delivery.

Curbside pickup for online orders is available Monday-Friday. As an additional support for businesses and lunch groups in the area, the Chicago French Market also offers several food catering options.

Proof of vaccination (ages five and older) and valid ID (ages sixteen and older) will be required in accordance with the new order.
