Uvae Kitchen, 5553 N. Clark St., hosts a five-course Halloween Murder Mystery Wine Dinner, 6 p.m. October 31, $138, includes dinner/wine pairing and show.
Dinner starts with an argula and fennel salad with warm brie croutons; honey crisp apples; candied walnuts and fennel frond vinaigrette, pumpkin soup with crème fraiche.
A choice of entrees are: pan seared scallops; roasted duck breast; braised short ribs or roasted Maitake mushrooms with truffle risotto and black currant reduction.
