Central Park Bar, 2924 N. Park Ave., opens October 30. Pegged as a classic corner bar (at the intersection of Milwaukee and Central Park Avenues), the establishment sports a retro look and feel. One of the highlights of the establishment is the 3,500 square ft. backyard bar outfitted in what formerly was a vacant lot adjacent to the building.

The establishment, owned and operated by Four Entertainment Group: aliveOne; Easy Bar; Estelle's; Remedy and The Owl)) will have the vibe of a bygone Chicago era when bars and lounges were cool and definitely the hits of popular thoroughfares. The space has also retained the original 80-year-old bar that dates back to the 1940s.

Exposed brick walls and green vinyl bar stools add to the ambience. Cocktails include the bar's signature libation "The Wildflower," Polish Zibrwoka Bison Grass vodka; Singhai 63; St. Germain; Dolin Dry vermouth and lemon.

Hours of operation are 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. Sunday-Friday; 4 p.m. to 3 a.m. SaturdayPHOTO: Ryan Gac
