Cantina Laredo, 508 N. State, hosts a Casa Dragones tequila dinner, 7 p.m. September 22. Special guest Bertha Gonzales Nieve, revered as the first woman Maestra Tequilera, will be on hand to discuss the tequila brand during a four-course dinner prepared by Executive Chef Damon Workman.
Workman's selections include: ahi tuna ceviche, cantina salad with chipotle vinaigrette, choice of entree (pork tenderloin; lemon shrimp) and ancho chocolate cheesecake. Dinner guests will sip a variety of neat pours, enjoy paired Latin libations and Dragones merchandise will be given away. The dinner is $69.99 (plus tax and gratuity). Reservations: 312.955.0014.
